Auction Benefits Indonesian Children With Cleft Lip and Palate

The First International Art Sketch Event in Bali Continues to do Good for Indonesian Communities.

Jakarta, 29 March 2019 – Following the great success of 1O1 Travel Sketch Bali International Edition, its first international event, 1-3 March 2019, the original PHM Hospitality event continues to inspire and give back to the community.

As in previous 1O1 Travel Sketch events and as part of PHM’s CSR programs, its completion is always marked by a fun-auction event. Benefits from the auction is always given back to the community and channeled for a good cause. At the 1O1 Travel Sketch Bali International Edition, the last day was marked by a Fun-Auction and Sketch Exchange program held at the Majestic Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK) Cultural Park.  During this year’s exchange and auction program, the auction was able to collect as much as IDR 20 million that was donated to Smile Train Indonesia, an organization focused on helping children with cleft lip and palate across Indonesia

“Everyday, there are approximately 600 to 700 children in Indonesia who need help, and Smile Train’s mission is to give  every child a chance to smile,” explained Deasy Larasati, Program Director and Country Manager Indonesia, Smile Train Organisation “As a charity, we provide 100% free cleft repair surgery and comprehensive cleft care. We would like to express our appreciation to PHM Hospitality for this generous donation. It will be very helpful in providing an opportunity for these children to smile, “continued Deasy during the donation handover.
